Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an expanding Customer Support team. This company has over 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ownership of, investigation, and resolution of customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams using troubleshooting tools and practices.
  • Participation in peer communities and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
  • Development of technical and professional skills through training and readiness initiatives.
  • Identification of potential product defects and escalation for resolution, contributing to Microsoft product improvements.
  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support or related fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of Office 365 technology.
  • Experience with Office Setup & Deployment processes.
  • Proficiency with Office core applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access), including troubleshooting and usage.
  • Understanding of Office integration with platforms such as Windows, third-party network shares/OS, mobiles, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Additional desirable skills include networking knowledge, familiarity with communication protocols (FTP, HTTP), object-oriented programming, and technical literacy with hands-on experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs):
  • Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • Experience in technical consulting or similar IT roles is preferred.
