John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Technician Specialist to join our delivery fleet and install products in customers' homes as part of a two-person crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
You'll coach and develop fellow drivers, deliver exceptional service, and handle loadings, installations, and on-site demonstrations while maintaining safety and product knowledge, enabling great customer experiences and brand values.
As one of our Technician Specialists, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing our distinctive John Lewis service right to our customers' doors and installing the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle. You'll also share your specialised knowledge to coach and develop the other delivery drivers in your team on home installations and general customer service skills, acting as a role model for the great service John Lewis is known for.
Schedule Pattern: 4 days per week, 5 week rota with two shift patterns available. AM shift - Monday-Saturday 06:00-17:00. PM shift - Monday-Friday 10:30-21:30, Saturday 07:00-18:00.
Salary up to £39,640, depending on experience
Due to its nature, you need to be 18 years or older to work in this role.
