John Lewis Partnership is seeking Installation Specialists to deliver and install products at customers' homes as part of a two-person crew. You will start at the delivery hub, then travel on a route to install items such as furniture, white goods, and TVs, often handling heavy loads.
Role involves loading and unloading with the warehouse team, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and staying up to date with product knowledge.
As one of our Installation Specialists based in one of our Customer Delivery Hubs, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing our distinctive John Lewis service right to our customers' doors and install the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew, driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle., Your day will see you start at the delivery hub where you are based before heading out on a route.
Please note this role involves heavy lifting: You will spend a lot of time delivering large items such as sofas, white goods, sports equipment, furniture, beds, and mattresses.
Previous experience of installation is required for this role and we'll assist in topping up your knowledge with our very own installer accreditation.
41 hours per week - working 06:00 - 17:00 - 4 days a week covering Mon-Sat, with a 4 week rota pattern.
