Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose quality and Partner-led service to customers' doors in Exeter. You'll start in-store and then head out on delivering orders, while also helping with stock replenishment and shop floor tasks.

This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) runs Thu, Sat and Sun 14:00-22:00. You will need a valid B-category UK driving licence, great customer service, and the physical ability to lift crates and move stock as needed.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (lifting crates, walking stairs, moving cages).

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and ensure orders are complete for direct delivery to customers.
• Ensure vehicle safety checks and road compliance.
• Be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with customers on the road.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the shop team with general tasks when required.
