Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and at customers' homes. You’ll deliver groceries, load and unload the van, and ensure orders reach customers within the promised time slots with a warm, helpful service.

This role is hands-on and varied, offering flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week; a full UK/EU driving licence is required, with up to 3 penalty points. Training and ongoing support are provided by Tesco.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Valid driving licence and clean driving record
• Ability to handle physical tasks and deliveries responsibly

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within agreed time windows
• Load and secure goods in the van and keep the vehicle clean and organised
• Communicate clearly with customers and handle substitutions or refunds as needed
• Provide warm, friendly service at the doorstep and ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with store team to maintain smooth delivery operations
