Job summary

Tesco Watford Extra is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers, providing friendly, reliable service with a smile. You will drive safely, manage deliveries and support customers with order changes at the doorstep.

Role offers flexible hours with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week and benefits from Tesco’s colleague programs and discounts. Training and support are provided in-store and on the road.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide friendly, reliable service to customers.
• Maintain a positive, approachable manner while on deliveries.
• Demonstrate safe driving and careful handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within promised time slots.
• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Provide warm, natural service at the doorstep and ensure customer satisfaction.
