Job summary

Asda Stores is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Wallington for part-time afternoons. You will load your van and deliver to customers, playing a vital role in a smooth operation while keeping the van clean and ready for the next trip. Training will be provided.

The role emphasises customer service, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude with flexibility for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Load and unload goods and keep the van clean and ready for next deliveries.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
