Job summary

Asda Stores is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Cambridge. You will load the van, deliver to customers’ front doors with a smile, and keep the vehicle clean for the next run.

You’ll also help with packing online orders and support the team during busy periods, bringing a positive, customer-focused approach to every shift.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months and with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and ensure it is clean and ready for delivery.
• Deliver groceries and other items to customers at their homes with a smile.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders when not on the road.
• Support the team during busy periods to maintain smooth operation.

Role Overview

At Asda, we want you to find your everything. As a Customer Delivery Driver in our store team, you'll be at the heart of the customer experience-serving with heart at pride. Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
