Job summary

Asda Stores is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Tunstall to support the store team with home deliveries and in-store pickup tasks. The role involves loading the van, delivering to customers, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for the next shift.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, reliable, and able to work well with teammates in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, are required.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure goods for delivery.
• Deliver to customers' homes or designated locations.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
