Job summary

Asda in Penryn is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver on a part-time basis. You will drive a van to deliver groceries, load and unload, and provide friendly service to customers. Training is provided and you may assist with orders during busy periods.

Shifts are afternoons, 24 hours per week. The role offers a supportive team environment and benefits including a staff discount and pension options.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you’re not on the road, you’ll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert mechanic – we’ll give you all the training you need) and whenweare really busy, you’ll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid UK DrivingLicence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.


• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.


• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.


• Good communication skills and a team mindset.


• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
