Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Oadby to join our store team. You will deliver products to customers’ doors, help load and unload, and keep your van tidy for the next run. The role suits someone who enjoys customer service and working with a busy team.

Show up with a positive attitude, reliable hours, and a willingness to learn. Flexible with afternoons and weekend shifts, 16 hours per week, permanent part-time contract.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries and deliver to regular customers with a smile.
• Help keep the van clean and well-maintained for each shift.
• Support the team during busy periods and assist with online orders.
• Provide high-quality customer service at the door and in-store as needed.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
