Job summary

Asda in Ashford is seeking a part-time Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, loading your van and delivering groceries to customers’ front doors with a smile. You’ll also keep the van tidy and assist with order picking when busy.

We offer training, a supportive team environment and a competitive pay rate of £13.10 per hour. Weekend and evening shifts are available, with 19.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months.
• Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders to customers' front doors.
• Keep van clean and fit for next delivery.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders when busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
