Job summary

Asda in Blackpool is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience—loading the van, delivering to regular customers, and ensuring orders reach doors with a smile.

When not on the road, you’ll keep the van clean and fit for the next delivery and assist the team during busy periods by picking and packing online orders. A valid UK license is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load your van and deliver orders to customers' homes.
• Keep the van clean and fit for the next delivery.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
