Job summary

ASDA in Huddersfield is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver for afternoons. This part-time, fixed-term role involves loading the van, delivering orders to customers’ homes, and keeping the vehicle tidy for the next run.

You must hold a UK driving licence (full or automatic) with ≤6 penalty points. You’ll join a friendly team, providing excellent service and flexible support during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Customer-focused and friendly approach to service.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
