Job summary

ASDA in Barnsley is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a permanent part-time basis (afternoons, 24 hours per week). You’ll load your van and deliver to regular customers, bringing the store experience to their front door with a smile.

When not on the road, you’ll keep your van clean and ready for the next delivery, and you’ll help the team by picking and packing online orders. Training is provided, and you’ll join a supportive store team focused on great service and customer satisfaction in a

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
