Job summary

ASDA in Brynmawr is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team on a fixed-term, part-time basis. You’ll load your van, deliver to regular customers, and ensure orders reach customers’ doors with a smile.

The role suits someone with a valid UK Driving Licence, good communication, and flexibility to work afternoons, weekends, and evenings. Training is provided, and you’ll help with online order picking when busy.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load and drive the delivery van to customers.
• Deliver orders to customers at their homes with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and ready for next delivery.
• Assist with picking/packing online orders when busy.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
