Job summary

Impactive IT in Leeds is seeking a Customer Data & Insight Analyst to join its growing analytics team. You will work with customer, basket and loyalty data to deliver high-impact insights that drive commercial decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience with customer data, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. The position is hybrid, with 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience working with customer data (Retail or FMCG experience highly desirable).
• Hands-on experience extracting, manipulating, and working with large datasets.
• A proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• A self-motivated approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and wider teams.

Responsibilities

• Translating data into clear and coherent customer insights.
• Storytelling insights & outputs through well-structured slide decks with clear actions and recommendations for clients.
• Support both tactical and strategic initiatives to help unlock value from client data.
• Ensure high standards of data quality through strong QC and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, supporting on insight delivery and analytical work where required.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with customer, basket, and loyalty data to deliver high-impact insights that directly shape commercial and strategic decisions for clients.

You will have:

• 3-5 years’ experience working with customer data (Retail or FMCG experience highly desirable)

Desired skills & experience:

• Strong coding skills in SQL (essential), Python (desirable) with solid MS Excel capabilities.
• Ability to extract data, generate insights, and present findings clearly in structured presentations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
