Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process and check stock movement data from customers to keep records accurate
• Receive, analyse and upload customer declaration files into internal system
• Register declared movements and resolve rejected files
• Contact customers about rejected files or queries on delivery locations
• Create and maintain matching tables so movements are assigned correctly
• Check quality and timeliness of data submissions
• Keep customer process flow charts up to date

Location: Near Redditch Salary: £27,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday Permanent

Arden Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established business near Redditch. They are looking for a Customer Data Analyst to join their Business Contract Management team. It s a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys detail and wants to understand how data keeps a business running smoothly.

The role

You ll process and check the stock movement data that customers submit, so that customer and site stock records are always accurate. Your day-to-day will include:

• Receiving, analysing and uploading customer declaration files into the company s internal system
• Registering declared stock movements and resolving any rejected files
• Contacting customers about rejected files or queries about non-agreed delivery locations
• Creating and maintaining matching tables so movements are assigned correctly
• Checking the quality and timeliness of customer data submissions
• Keeping customer process flow charts up to date
• Contributing to wider team projects where your skills are useful

About you

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (vocational qualifications welcome)
• Up to 2 years in an admin, data or office role would be useful
• Confident with Microsoft 365, especially Excel
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Highly accurate, with a real eye for detail
• Well organised and able to manage your own workload
• A clear, confident communicator with people at all levels
• Customer-focused, and keen to understand the bigger picture of how the business works
