Job description

Customer Business Planner

At L'Oréal, a Customer Business Planner is a Hybrid role which sits between commercial and supply chain with the aim of developing an accurate customer forecast and driving customer conversations. The role focuses on accelerating collaboration internally & externally to ultimately challenge & strategize our business plans, whilst always representing our customer's voice.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a L'Oréal Customer Business Planners, you sit at the heart of the commercial operations team. Your role is pivotal to how we pilot our business, managing the forecast processes within your account to give your key stakeholders visibility of the performance trends, opportunities, and risks that surround the business performance.

Your role is diverse, with many stakeholders to engage with day to day; you may start your day identifying key sales trends with your NAMs, before attending a strategic forecast review meeting with your retailer to discuss the latest promotional plans and aligning on your collaborative forecast for the coming months. You then jump on a call with the supply chain and marketing teams, sharing your key retailer insights on the performance of their products and providing hot off the press news surrounding NPD or promotional performance, while securing the strongest service for your retailer in the process.

You end your day sitting down with key finance and senior commercial stakeholders, to discuss your insights on the forecast, presenting your views and helping shape the final turnover call made to Paris by the division's most senior leadership teams.

It’s a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding role that sits at the heart of L'Oréal’s commitment to beauty and customer satisfaction.
