Job summary

Booths in Kirkgate, Settle invites a Specialist Customer Assistant to join our Counters team. You will serve customers at Raw, Fish, Deli, Bakery and Hot Counter, delivering friendly service while maintaining high standards of product care and presentation.

Rate:£12.80

Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week contracts available

Working pattern

We have positions available with a contracts from 20 to 30 hours per week.

• You must be available to work on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Other days may change to suit business needs.
• Shifts will be in the range of 6am - 8.30pm.

As part of your contract, we ask for availability that is, as a minimum, one and a half times your weekly hours. For example, if you were on a 10-hour contract, we would ask for 15 hours of availability. This doesn't mean you will work 15 hours (unless there is overtime available, and this may be offered to you) but your shifts may be placed anywhere within the availability you provide. This helps us build fair, consistent rotas, and ensures we can meet customer demand across the week. With this role being in Retail, you must also be available to work one late night and one weekend day per week.

You will have at least 2 weeks’ notice of when your shifts will be. If you can't exactly match the hours and days we are looking for, this can be discussed. We are always happy to hear from you.

The Role - Counters

Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. As a Specialist Customer Assistant, you will be working on our Counters (Raw, Fish, Deli, Bakery and Hot Counter)

As part of our Counters team, you will be working with a variety of raw meats and fish. You will have high degree of customer interaction and should therefore have a friendly, polite and approachable manner.
