Sainsbury's is hiring a Customer Assistant in the United Kingdom. You’ll put customers first, be friendly and helpful, and support stock, shelves and checkout activities in a fast-paced store environment.

You'll use digital tools to assist customers, learn about products, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience. We value teamwork, flexibility, and a proactive approach to helping customers day in day out.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
