Job summary

Marks & Spencer is hiring a Customer Assistant in our Food section. You’ll be at the frontline, delivering five-star service at pace and embracing transformation in a busy, high-pressure environment.

You'll actively learn product knowledge, confidently recommend latest food items, and help ensure customers have a valued shopping experience. You’ll work evenings as needed and stay digitally confident with Sparks App and in-store devices.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude is preferred.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and explain options to customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in the Food section to find products and answer questions.
• Recommend and upsell products to meet customer needs.
• Handle high-pressure periods with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Be flexible to work across different store areas as required.
