Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Assistant to help keep our stores running smoothly and to deliver excellent service. You will be part of a fast-paced, energetic team, supporting shelving, order picking, cashiering and product sales while embracing our values of putting customers first.

You’ll develop knowledge of products and promotions, use digital tools as part of daily tasks, and contribute to a tidy, well-organised store. Flexible hours across the store are expected.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through friendly, helpful service.
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products.
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience.
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location.
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers.
