Job summary

Buzz Bingo Newcastle is seeking a Customer Assistant to deliver exceptional, personalised service across front-of-house and related areas. The role is a 24 hour contract with flexible shifts over 7 days, including evenings and weekends. Previous kitchen/cooking experience is preferred.

You will build rapport with customers, maintain high presentation standards, and support other duties as requested by the line manager while ensuring a safe gambling environment across all channels.

• Experience delivering first-class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in hospitality, retail or leisure.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including general housekeeping throughout the Club.
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager.
• Ensure a Safer Gambling Environment across online, in club and live channels.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
• Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live

The Winning Combination We re Looking For

• Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
• Previous kitchen/cooking experience is preferred
• Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
• Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
• You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
