Job summary

BUZZ Bingo in Barnsley is seeking a Customer Assistant for a 20 hour contract with flexible evenings and weekends. You will deliver friendly, personalised service and help maintain a welcoming club environment.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle cash. Join a team that supports learning and growth while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every guest.

• Recent experience delivering first-class, personalised customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club including front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, bar and kitchen, plus general housekeeping.
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager.
• Ensure a Safer Gambling Environment across all channels; online, in club and live.

Join us as a Customer Assistant in our Barnsley Club offering a 20 hour contract which is fully flexible over 7 days, including evenings and weekends.

The Role You ll Play

As a Customer Assistant you go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our Customers. You will do the right thing always by looking after our Customers as caring for people is in our DNA.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
• Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live

The Winning Combination We re Looking For

• Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
• Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
• Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
• You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
