Job Title: Customer Assistance Coordinator

Department: Roadside

Location: Birmingham (Centre City House, Hill Street, B5 4US)

Salary: £27,013.60

Bonus: £2,045 performance bonus

Start Date: June/July

The Role:

As a Customer Assistance Coordinator, you’ll support customers requiring roadside assistance, providing prompt, professional, and compassionate service. You'll be part of a dynamic, customer-focused team aiming to deliver a smooth and reassuring experience during stressful situations.

Hours & Working Pattern:

This is a 35-hour/week position with shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. The role follows a hybrid working model with provided IT equipment (PC, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse). A stable landline connection is required for remote work.

You Will:
  • Respond to customer calls professionally, empathetically, and efficiently
  • Manage assistance cases proactively to ensure timely service
  • Communicate updates clearly to customers
  • Follow call guidelines and procedures to meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with team and management to improve service
About You:
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Customer-focused with a calm, solutions-driven approach
  • Ability to use multiple systems and manage tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Reliable home working setup
  • Experience in customer service, call centres, or emergency services
  • Understanding of roadside assistance or motor claims
