Job summary

Hobbycraft Salisbury is seeking a Store Colleague to deliver outstanding customer service, handle tills, stock replenishment and merchandising on the shop floor. This 8-hour-per-week role combines flexible hours with the chance to inspire customers through knowledgeable craft guidance.

Passion for crafts and a willingness to learn are valued, even if retail experience is limited. You’ll join a creative team that supports colleagues and customers in a friendly, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Must be passionate about all things craft and want to inspire others.
• Ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customer’s needs.
• High levels of enthusiasm, drive and motivation.
• Confident and clear communication skills.
• Must be flexible in order to accommodate the business trading needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations
• Operating the till and accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards and gift cards transactions
• Carrying out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
• Be involved with our visual merchandising to ensuring the store is well presented and inspiring to our customers
• Demonstrate your product knowledge to customers and be confident in approaching customers that may require assistance if you are on the shop floor

Store Colleague - Salisbury

Hours of Work - 8 per week

Salary - £12.71 per hour

About The Role

• Delivering excellent customer service whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations
