Job summary

Hobbycraft Salisbury is seeking a friendly Store Colleague to deliver outstanding customer service and help drive sales. This part-time role involves working on the shop floor, assisting customers, and contributing to a welcoming store environment.

You will be involved in till transactions, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to ensure the store reflects our brand. Passion for crafts and strong communication are key to success.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Passionate about crafting and inspiring others.
• Ability to learn and share product knowledge with customers.
• High levels of enthusiasm, drive and motivation.
• Confident and clear communication skills.
• Flexible to accommodate business trading needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Operate the till and handle cash, cards and gift vouchers accurately.
• Carry out stock replenishment and keep store areas tidy.
• Assist with visual merchandising to keep the store well presented and inviting.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and approach customers needing assistance on the shop floor.

About the role

As a Customer Advisor you will play an active role in providing a positive customer experience and driving sales

• Delivering excellent customer service whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations
• Operating the till and accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards and gift cards transactions
• Carrying out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
• Be involved with our visual merchandising to ensuring the store is well presented and inspiring to our customers
• Demonstrate your product knowledge to customers and be confident in approaching customers that may require assistance if you are on the shop floor

About you
