Job summary

Hobbycraft is recruiting a part-time Customer Advisor in Bath to support the Store Management Team in delivering a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience. You will demonstrate Hobbycraft values, engage with customers about craft products and help maintain visual standards across the store.

You will work around 12 hours per week, with pay at £12.71 per hour. The role includes till work, stock replenishment and potential workshop support, contributing to our inclusive, high-energy store

Responsibilities

• Brand ambassador - champion Hobbycraft brand and positive change
• Build strong team relationships and uphold Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy
• Deliver outstanding customer service with clear communication and product knowledge
• Support stock replenishment and maintain clean, well-displayed shelves
• Operate till and handle cash/transactions accurately
• Assist with the Click and Collect process
• Maintain stock tagging and loss-prevention practices
• Host workshops when required

Customer Advisor - Bath

Hours of Work - 12 hours per week

Salary - £12.71 per hour

As a Customer Advisor at Hobbycraft you will support the Store Management Team to deliver all aspects of the store operation, initiatives and performance. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Brand ambassador – you will be passionate about the Hobbycraft brand, embracing change in a positive and proactive way
• Teamwork - you will build great working relationships with the team and treat individuals fairly and with respect at all times, adhering to our Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy
• Customer Service - you will deliver outstanding customer service, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will have excellent communication skills and interact with our customers, sharing your passion and knowledge of craft
• Change - you have the flexibility to recognise change and approach it in a positive, proactive way.
• Policies and Procedures - you will comply with all Company policies and Health and Safety Regulations
• Shop Floor - you will deliver excellent standards and know what good looks like You will be required to replenish stock, keeping the displays clean, full and tidy at all times. You may also assist in changing displays of stock.
• Cash Handling - Operating the till and accurately handling cash, credit/debit cards and gift cards transactions.
• Click and Collect – you will be required to assist with the Click and Collect process
• Stock Control - Being vigilant at all times to help minimise stock loss and ensure tagging processes are followed
• Workshops – you may be required to host various workshops

Experience

• Retail (or similar) experience is desirable
• A confident communicator who can deliver outstanding customer service
