Job summary

Argos is seeking a Customer Advisor to deliver outstanding service to customers visiting our stores, while assisting with online orders and collections. You will help customers with payments, refunds, and provide information on our financial services.

You’ll also collect products from stock, restock shelves, and be available on the shop floor to answer questions and offer product recommendations. A friendly, proactive attitude is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer service at tills, on shopfloor, and at collection counters.
• Be friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic in helping customers.
• Comfortable discussing financial services when applicable.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Advisor, you'll provide the very best experience for our customers when they visit our stores to shop or collect their online orders.

Eligibility:

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Most roles are part-time working across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Your hours will be scheduled to fit around your availability and may vary from week to week.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Make sure that the stock room is neat and tidy, and restocking products from deliveries
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
