Job summary

Trinity Estates in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Customer Account Advisor to manage the Sales Ledger, chase payments, resolve queries and maintain accurate ledgers within a hybrid working environment.

You will work with internal teams, communicate clearly with residents and organisations, and support debt recovery while delivering high levels of service and accurate reporting. The role involves structured reminder cycles, monitoring aged debt, and collaboration to remove payment barriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable in a high‑volume environment.
• Background working with residential customers and/or mixed customer bases (consumers and businesses).
• Familiarity with accounting systems and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Calling and emailing customers to agree payment plans and chase arrears.
• Working through reminder letters, statements and escalations in line with process.
• Monitoring aged debt and proposing next steps to resolve disputes and enable payment.
• Maintaining accurate Sales Ledger records and documentation for every account.
• Liaising with external partners to progress legal action where appropriate.
