You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure effective management of customer credit risk, to optimise cash flow, minimise bad debt exposure, and support business growth through sound credit management practices. This role plays a key part in safeguarding the company’s financial health by implementing robust credit policies, assessing creditworthiness, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
This role is working Monday- Friday, 39 hours per week on a hybrid contract
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing team while conducting meaningful career and performance discussions. You will possess excellent delegation and performance management skills, alongside analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to interpret data and make informed decisions. Clear and professional communication is essential, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, negotiate successfully, and explain complex issues in a simple and practical manner. The role requires strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively under tight deadlines. Technical proficiency in MS Excel is required, along with familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools.
