Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group seeks an ambitious Curriculum Manager for English at our Aylesbury Campus. You will lead a high-performing English team, shape the curriculum and drive exceptional learner outcomes across the English provision.

As an educational leader, you will influence future English education, develop staff excellence and create outstanding learning experiences that empower learners to realise their potential and aspirations.

Qualifications

  • Has a strong background in teaching and learning within Further Education or a related educational setting.
  • Has experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
  • Understands how to use data, quality processes and performance measures to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of English teachers and coaches to deliver exceptional outcomes for learners.
  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the English curriculum.

  • Build strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and partners to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive.
  • Champion student voice and use feedback to enhance the learner experience.
  • Support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring, performance management and professional development.
