Job summary

United Colleges Group is seeking a Curriculum Manager for the Refrigeration & AC and Construction & Trades departments at our Willesden Campus in London. This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week with a salary of £49,286 to £54,566 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance, with a specialist market supplement up to £5,000.

The post requires a teaching qualification and FE leadership experience, plus strong skills in staff development, curriculum planning and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or equivalent.
• Track record of operational leadership and management in a Further Education setting.
• Experience supporting staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching.
• Experience of recruitment, induction and guidance of students.
• Experience contributing to curriculum planning, design and development.
• Experience leading staff and managing budgets.
• Experience in leading or coordinating quality enhancements in curriculum delivery.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to meeting the needs of learners, employers and communities served.
• Specialism in Plumbing, Gas, or Refrigeration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead employer engagement and internal quality assurance activities within ECBE.
• Oversee curriculum planning and delivery across ECBE and associated departments.
• Recruit, induct and mentor staff; support staff development.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to strengthen industry links.
• Ensure safeguarding and equality and diversity commitments.
