Job summary

Haringey Council is seeking an experienced Curriculum Writer to join the Talent, Recruitment and Development team. You will design and develop high-quality learning programmes, create curricula and resources, and deliver training that aligns with the Council’s learning strategy.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, evaluate impact, and lead on junior team development. This role offers a 36-hour week at a fixed 12-month term with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experienced learning and development professional with strong curriculum design and content development skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Good understanding of adult learning principles and ability to apply them in practice.
• Ability to develop effective learning solutions and deliver engaging training sessions.
• Experience using a range of learning technologies and authoring tools.
• Some experience of people management, coaching and supporting others to develop.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality learning programmes aligned to organisational priorities and learning outcomes.
• Create engaging learning content, curricula and resources.
• Deliver training and workshops where appropriate and support learning initiatives across the organisation.
• Manage and develop team members and work with stakeholders to evaluate impact.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Council to continuously improve learner experience.
