Brent Council is seeking an Assistant Curriculum Manager to deliver learning success with the teaching team. You will support the Curriculum Manager in designing and developing the Community Learning curriculum, ensuring a high-quality learner journey.

The role requires a level 5 teaching qualification, a subject-specific Brent Start qualification (Hair and Beauty preferred), and strong IT and policy development experience. Hybrid working and generous leave are offered.

Competenze

• Generic adult teaching/training qualification at level 5 (e.g. DTTLS)
• Subject-specific qualification in Brent Start courses (Hair and Beauty)
• Level 2 Maths and English, GCSE C or equivalent
• Experience with current teaching and learning strategies
• Experience delivering Brent Start Community Learning courses (Hair and Beauty preferred)
• Developing and implementing learners' policies and curriculum
• Experience working with awarding organisations
• Experience leading a team
• Good IT skills: databases, spreadsheets, VLEs
