Job summary

Hednesford Valley High School is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant (Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor) to join our supportive team. The role provides high-quality classroom support, helps with learning activities, and assists in producing teaching resources within a busy school environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy, hold NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent), and be able to act as a Cover Supervisor when needed, contributing to

Qualifications

• GCSE C/4 or above in numeracy and literacy.
• NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with students, parents/carers and professionals.
• Confident ICT use to support teaching and learning.
• Ability to act as Cover Supervisor in absence of teaching staff.
• Strong commitment to raising attainment in a special school setting.
• Teamwork and positive relationships with colleagues.
• Willingness to work across different areas/sites.

Responsibilities
