Job summary

The Goodwood Art Foundation is seeking Casual Gallery Hosts to welcome visitors, share information about exhibitions and artworks, and help visitors connect with contemporary art. You’ll engage with guests, support tours and events, and contribute to a welcoming environment across the Foundation site.

This casual role requires a friendly, proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work weekends and events.

• Confident speaking with diverse audiences.
• Willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a team.
• Flexible to work weekends, bank holidays and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and welcome them to Goodwood Art Foundation.
• Share information about exhibitions and artworks in an engaging way.
• Assist visitors with exploring galleries and Foundation site.
• Support tours, events and education activities when required.
• Answer questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with reception and retail during busy periods.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.
• Represent the Foundation positively at all times.
