Job summary

TDK-Lambda UK is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead the HSE strategy and ensure compliance across manufacturing operations in the UK. You will drive culture change, oversee statutory training, and manage ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications.

You will lead the HSE team, chair the Health & Safety Committee, support disaster recovery planning, and engage leaders to embed best practices. 37.5-hour week; salary up to £70k dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in manufacturing is essential.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental regulations.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate is required.
• Environmental qualification appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cultural continual improvement strategy and develop a positive HSE culture.
• Ensure statutory compliance for Environmental, Health, Safety and welfare at work, including training and reporting.
• Manage ISO 45001 & 14001 certifications.
• Drive a continuous improvement programme with clear targets and objectives.
• Develop and lead the HSE team members.
• Chair the Health & Safety Committee to drive best practices and engagement.
• Lead the disaster recovery planning for Health, Safety & Environmental.
