Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Culinary Design Manager to lead commercial foodservice and culinary construction projects for a major technology client.

You will oversee tenant improvements for cafes and culinary spaces, ensuring adherence to published culinary standards and feeding learnings back into the standards cycle. The role requires proactive leadership, autonomy, and the ability to manage design teams, collaborate with architects and consultants, and coordinate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience delivering commercial foodservice/culinary construction.
• Knowledge of foodservice equipment, MEP, and health code requirements.
• Experience as owner's representative, directing architect of record and consultant teams.
• Ability to read and interrogate kitchen equipment plans and drawings.
• Experience delivering projects in or adjacent to live food service operations.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Google Workspace; Bluebeam; Autodesk products.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary design projects, directing the architect of record and the design/construction team to meet published standards.
• Monitor progress on multiple culinary construction projects to ensure standards are implemented.
• Coordinate with end users, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth project turnover and minimal disruption.
