Partner Company is seeking a Technical Chief of Staff based in the United Kingdom to support the CTO. You will translate priorities into clear, actionable plans and coordinate across engineering teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes high-trust leadership, independent judgment, and strategic impact within a growing cybersecurity and web infrastructure business. You will work remotely from Europe, engaging with executive leadership and product direction while ensuring decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, technical program management, engineering operations, or a comparable role within a technology-driven organization.
• Solid understanding of web infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, software development, or related technical domains.
• Ability to understand complex technical discussions and communicate decisions clearly to different audiences.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating technical teams and driving execution across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, planning, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Confidence in challenging delays, clarifying ownership, and maintaining constructive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Translate the CTO's priorities into actionable plans with clear responsibilities and measurable deliverables across teams.
• Facilitate communication between the CTO, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and improve efficiency.
• Monitor engineering initiatives using project tracking tools and follow up on milestones and blockers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, decision records, and project updates.
• Coordinate and facilitate engineering discussions, capture key decisions, and confirm next steps.
• Identify risks and dependencies, challenging teams when necessary to maintain momentum.
• Establish lightweight coordination practices that improve visibility without adding bureaucracy.
• Provide operational support to enable senior technical leadership to focus on architecture and long-term direction.
• Help teams understand technical decisions and align with the broader engineering strategy.
