Job summary

CR3 is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to join its executive leadership and shape the future of the business. You will oversee Product Management, Software Engineering, QA and Infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions that drive growth and customer success.

The role requires strategic technology leadership with a track record of scaling teams, strong cloud and cybersecurity knowledge, and the ability to influence at board level.

Qualifications

• Experience at CTO or senior technology leadership level.
• Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or EdTech environments.
• Led Product Management, Software Engineering, QA and Infrastructure.
• Proven record of scaling technology teams and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering and cloud platforms.
• Experience with networking technologies and network security.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies including AI capabilities.
• Experience managing technology budgets, investment planning and cost optimization.
• Executive stakeholder management with board-level influence.
• Excellent communication translating technical concepts into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with growth.
• Serve as a trusted technology partner to the executive team, advising on opportunities and risks.
• Identify emerging tech and innovation to maintain competitive advantage.
• Lead due diligence for partnerships and acquisitions.
• Manage technology budgets, investment planning and resource allocation.
• Establish governance, standards, and best practices across tech functions.
• Oversee product management, engineering, QA, and infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Drive secure release management and quality assurance processes.
• Lead the design and operation of cloud, hybrid, and on-prem infrastructure.
