Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform CT scans under physician orders. You will produce high-quality images and present results for radiologist interpretation, while supporting safety, training, and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image acquisition, safety practices, supervision of students, inventory management, and documentation for billing.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB CNMT.
• Advanced ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within one year of hire.
• Six months’ relevant CT experience or completion of cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams by confirming orders and patient identity.
• Perform CT examinations across age groups and maintain competency.
• Maintain radiation safety practices for staff and patients.
• Supervise CT students and support cross-training programs.
• Monitor supplies and ensure uninterrupted CT services.
• Document procedures and assist with billing data.
• Participate in PDCA-based performance improvement for CT.
