Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform CT exams according to physician orders and the exam manual. You will deliver high‑quality images and collaborate with radiologists for timely interpretation, while supporting safety, inventory and documentation needs.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB CNMT registration is required.
• Advanced level certification by ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography within one year of hire date.
• Six months’ relevant experience required (CT preferred) and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams by confirming orders and verifying identity.
• Perform CT examinations across age groups and maintain competency.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and a safe environment for staff and patients.
• Supervise CT students and support cross-training programs.
• Assist with inventory management and timely billing documentation.
• Contribute to performance improvement using PDCA approach.
