Job description

North Manchester Hospital, part of Manchester Foundation Trust, is seeking dedicated and compassionate radiographers to join our CT team.

The department handles a diverse workload, including complex scanning procedures, across three CT scanners at North Manchester Hospital and the CDC sites.

The Cross-sectional department comprises a friendly team rotating between North Manchester and CDC sites on a shift pattern, covering seven days a week and 24-hour operations.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate an interest in CT scanning and have some experience in a CT environment, although full training will be provided to suitable applicants.

The busy CT department at North Manchester General scans many patients from various hospital areas. You will collaborate with a large team of radiographers, radiologists, radiology assistants, interventional nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient CT imaging services.
2. Providing supervision and training for junior radiographers, assistant practitioners, radiographic helpers, and student radiographers.
