Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting for a Band 6 Radiographer to join the Cross Sectional Imaging team. The role focuses on CT and MRI work with a high standard of image quality and patient care.

You will work with a skilled team of radiographers, radiologists and radiology assistants to deliver a patient-focused CT service. Successful applicants should have MRI and/or CT experience, be flexible to rotate across departments, and contribute to service development within a department

Qualifications

• Band 6 radiographer level role within Cross Sectional Imaging.
• Experience in MRI and/or CT procedures required.
• Strong image quality focus and patient care.
• Flexible working across 7 days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT and MRI examinations.
• Provide high-quality, patient-focused radiographic service.
• Rotate across MRI and CT departments to support service and development.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and act as a senior radiographer when required.
• Comply with IRR/IRMER and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participate in 24/7 shift system and flexible hours.
