Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Higher Level Imaging Department Assistant for the busy CT department at Royal Preston Hospital. You will support radiographers, prepare patients, cannulate, handle contrast media and provide compassionate care across four scanners.

NVQ Level 3 in a health-related subject is required, with training to complete the Level 3 apprenticeship within 18 months. Band 2 entry may apply depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Health & Safety awareness is essential.
• Confidentiality awareness is required.
• Understanding of the Band 3 Imaging Assistant role.
• Evidence of working as Band 3 in a caring environment.
