Job summary

The Clancy Group is hiring a CST - Customer service technician based in Northampton. You will upgrade existing water meters to our new smart meters and connect them to the closest mast, while explaining how the new device works to customers.

No prior experience is required as we offer full training. A driving licence is essential as most tasks are outside, and you will receive a company van, fuel card and PPE to perform your duties safely.

This is where you come in…

As a Smart Water Meter Technician, you will be upgrading existing meters to one of our new smart meters, so people can see how and when their water is being used.

Since the first meters were installed in 2020, they have helped Anglian Water customers to find and resolve over 100,000 leaks at their properties.

To do this, you will use the latest tech to upgrade and link the new smart meter to the closest mast, then explain to your customer how their new smart meter works!

If you can drive, are happy working outdoors, are physically fit and have great customer service skills the answer is probably YES - and we would love to hear from you!

We are focused on recruiting colleagues based on their potential. It doesn't matter about previous work experience, as we'll teach you everything you need to know - a great work ethic and a willingness to learn is more important to us.
