Job summary

V-Recruit is recruiting 1-2 Soft Landscaping Operatives with CSCS cards to work within landscaping teams around Yorkshire. You will join a small team on projects including new builds, public spaces, and commercial sites.

The role is 40 hours per week with overtime potential; temp to perm options available. A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are required due to remote yard location, and you must be over 25 for company vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and driving licence are essential.
• Experience in soft or hard landscaping, fencing or grounds maintenance.
• PA Spraying Licences / NPTC CS30/31 advantageous but not required.
• Candidates must be over 25 for company vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

CSCS Landscaping Operative

V-Recruit are currently working alongside a reputable and growing Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contractor to recruit 1-2 x Soft Landscaping Operatives with CSCS cards, to work within Landscaping teams on projects mainly around the Yorkshire area.

Our client undertakes all aspects of commercial and domestic Landscaping in and around Yorkshire, including hard and soft landscaping, tree surgery, grounds maintenance and fence erecting.

Your duties would include working within a team of 1-2 other commercial landscaping operatives on various projects, such as new build housing sites, public open spaces, environmental projects and commercial properties etc.

You will be required to follow risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe, efficient working.

various hourly rates, depending on tickets and experience starting at 16.38 per hour

Temp to perm work available for hardworking, reliable candidates.

Minimum 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime.

Progression opportunities are available for suitable candidates

The right candidates will have their CSCS card and a full UK driving licence with access to their own transport due to remote yard location and requirement to drive the company vehicles. You must be over 25 years old for company vehicle insurance policies.

We are looking for someone with previous soft or hard landscaping, fencing or grounds maintenance experience. PA Spraying Licences, NPTC CS30/31 or any other industry-specific qualifications would be advantageous, although not necessarily required.

There is much scope for progression with this company; there is potential progression into supervisory roles, or scope for Tree Surgery/Climber positions for candidates aspiring to this type of position.
