Job summary

Core Group seeks an experienced Handyman in Leicester to work on a construction project. The role involves carrying out basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and general maintenance.

You will install fixtures, repair damaged materials, assist with kitchen installations, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. CSCS is preferred/required depending on site, with start date 28 September, 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous construction/maintenance experience required.
• Good range of practical skills across trades.
• Able to work independently on site.
• CSCS Card preferred or required depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic carpentry.
• Carry out basic plumbing.
• Tile surfaces and perform minor repairs.

HANDYMAN

Location: Leicester

Rate: £21.25ph

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 / 8 hours paid

Duration: 8 weeks

CSCS: Preferred/Required

Start Date: 28 September, 2026

We are currently looking for experienced Handymen to work on a construction project.

Duties may include:

• Basic carpentry
• Basic plumbing
• Tiling and minor repairs
• Installing fixtures and fittings
• General maintenance and remedial works
• Basic decorating
• Assisting with kitchen installations
• Repairing and replacing damaged materials
• Completing snagging works
• Keeping work areas clean and safe

Requirements:

• Previous construction/maintenance experience
• Good range of practical skills
• Able to work independently
• Own basic tools where required
• CSCS Card preferred/required depending on site
• 2 checkable references
• Good understanding of site health & safety
